Finger Lakes Red, White, & Blue Burger
This flavorful, colorful, & patriotic concoction combines
beef (the Red), French bread (the White), & Bleu cheese (the
Blue), as well as some special sauces and grilled vegetables.
Because of the intense flavors, Arbor Hill Noir Wine would
compliment this nicely.
- 1 lb. Hamburger
- 4 oz.
Arbor Hill Burgundy Garlic Peppercorn Dressing
- 8 oz.
Crumbled Blue Cheese
- 8 oz. Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Red onion, sliced
- 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 loaf French bread, sliced diagonally
(1-inch. Thick slices)
- 3 Cloves of Garlic, crushed or a head of
garlic roasted w/olive oil
- Olive Oil
In a mixing bowl, add 3 oz. of the Arbor Hill Dressing to the
Hamburger and mix well. Make hamburger patties & grill to
desired taste. Put sliced mushrooms and onions in a mixing bowl
with about 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 crushed garlic
cloves; mix well and grill with hamburgers. Coat the slices of
French bread on each side with a combination of olive oil and
crushed garlic, or with the olive oil left from roasting the
garlic and then grill. When all items are grilled, place the
hamburgers on the French bread, topped with the grilled
mushrooms and onions, a healthy portion of bleu cheese, and a
dollop of the
Arbor Hill Burgundy Garlic Peppercorn Dressing. Enjoy!
